Dear Political Coordinators,

The week is coming to an end but not the activities for the Security Council. As a matter of fact, tomorrow, Wednesday December 18, we will have a full day.

The morning We will begin our morning at 10 am with the Chairman's Reports using the format I explained to you in yesterday's message. We expect this meeting to run for about an hour.

Immediately after that, we will adopt draft PRSTs on (i) ICTR/ICTY (text was agreed by Legal Experts and introduced by the President during yesterday's informal consultations), and (ii) Burundi (text was agreed by experts and introduced by France during yesterday's informal consultations).

We will then move to consultations and (i) listen to Ambassador Voronsov's presentation of the Report of the Secretary General pursuant to paragraph 14 of Resolution 1284(1999) and have a discussion; and (ii) listen to RSG Stephen's presentation of the Report on Guinea Bissau and have a discussion. Under "other matters," ASG Kalomoh will provide an update on Cote D'Ivoire. If we find that the morning is insufficient to deal with the business, we may be forced to consider Guinea-Bissau in the afternoon after Cyprus. Again, we will paly it "by ear."

The afternoon The afternoon will first be devoted to Cyprus and will consist of a briefing by Special Advisor De Soto on the latest developments, and possibly a discussion. We have been informed that the Secretary General will be present in the consultations room at 3 p.m. when informal consultations will begin. Under "other matters ", the Secretariat will brief the Council on the latest developments of the Inter-Congolese Dialogue (France's request during today's morning consultations).

Of course, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me or any of my colleagues.
